OCR: Macintosh TROUBLE SHOOTER Control Panels: File Sharing The Activity Monitor checks on this Mac's file sharing status, and displays the amount of activity that it is currently going on. The status section tells you whether file sharing is On or Off. Press the Start button to activate Sharing. The Program Linking section allows this Mac to share programs over the network. However you may need special software to make this work. If you have network capability, then your emulated Mac will be able to "publish" it's own hard disk over the whole network. This will enable other Mac or PC users (or even another Amiga) to "see" your computer, and be able to copy, read or even delete files from your hard disk. First, you must give the File Sharing control panel a Network Identity, via the Owner Name, and Computer Name. You can type in anything you like in these two fields. For added protection, you may also setup a password, in Owner Password field.
